{"id":384,"date":"2018-11-12T22:27:36","date_gmt":"2018-11-12T19:27:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amlr.ro\/?p=384"},"modified":"2019-05-09T12:51:20","modified_gmt":"2019-05-09T09:51:20","slug":"eflm-bursary-programme-for-young-scientists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlr.ro\/?p=384","title":{"rendered":"EFLM bursary programme for young scientists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"m_8409566948013532525yiv5264628915MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">This is to inform you that EFLM is promoting a bursary programme for young scientists attending the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.euromedlab2019barcelona.org\/2019\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.euromedlab2019barcelona.org\/2019\/home&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1542136824177000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGD3bjxiDaaN-ueHXRN-ZIL2fH8Gw\">23<sup>rd<\/sup> IFCC-EFLM European Congress of Clinical Chemistry Laboratory Medicine<\/a> in Barcelona from 19 to 23 May, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8409566948013532525yiv5264628915MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">A limited number of bursaries is available, the bursaries will cover the cost of the travel and 4-night accommodation for a maximum of Eur 900,00. EFLM bursary recipients will also receive the free congress registration waived by the Congress Organizing Committee and a free on-line yearly subscription to <i>CCLM<\/i>, kindly offered by W. de Gruyter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8409566948013532525yiv5264628915MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Eligible candidates must come <b><u>from an EFLM National Society Member<\/u><\/b> and meet the following criteria:<br \/>\n&#8211; Young participants (\u226435y at the date of the congress);<br \/>\n&#8211; Having a poster abstract accepted as First Author <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">(deadline for abstract submission January 15, 2019)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/amlr.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/EFLM_bursary_application_form-BARCELONA.docx\">EFLM_bursary_application_form-BARCELONA<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8409566948013532525yiv5264628915MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Applications must be submitted through the attached application form and accompanied by the following documentation:<br \/>\n1) Copy of the ID or passport<br \/>\n2) Document proving the membership to the EFLM National Society<br \/>\n3) Notification of poster acceptance <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">(acceptance\/rejection will be sent by the conference organizers within Feb 28)<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">4) Copy of the abstract submitted for the Barcelona congress <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">(in case you have more than one abstract, just please select one to sent to EFLM with the above documentation)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8409566948013532525yiv5264628915MsoNormal\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Applications have to be sent to <a href=\"mailto:silvia.cattaneo@eflm.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">silvia.cattaneo@eflm.eu<\/a> \u00a0within March 10, 2019.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8409566948013532525yiv5264628915MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We assume that people submitting the application for the bursary have already decided to attend the congress (having an abstract accepted). <u>So we expect that non-selected applicants do not withdrawn the abstract<\/u>.
